Can anyone give me some information on the MOFO/MOJO series of blades? I found some great pictures on badmojo but was unnable to find any information as to when they first came out, their intended purpose, and if the collectibility/value of them, specifically the Desert MOFO.

Thanks for the information

A Very Special Offer on "Desert MoFo" Military Over Run.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Long story short. After the MoFos were offered and sold out, we received an order for a special run of "Desert MoFos" in Artillery Desert Tan with Tan Canvas handles. We ran these above and beyond the initial run of 250 pieces.

This special run will be completed in approx. 3 weeks and will be headed to the "sandbox". It appears as though we will have approx. 30-40 surplus knives from this run. Normally we would work these into our standing inventory, but due to the fact that we are no longer offering this model, they will be sold on a first come first serve basis.

We will have both Misters and Uncles in this batch, but it is not yet clear as to how many of each. We will not be able to determine that number until our final shipment is made.

That'll be $20... And no, I'm not joking :p ;) :D

Yeah, there's only one thing you need to know.
They're awesome,
and you want one.
:D .
Welcome aboard, I hope you're having fun.

Has anyone ever tried using theirs for any real work as opposed to keeping it in safe queen like condition? I like users so this is a natural questian to me.

Not yet, but I finally decided on one in a sense. I've had mojos, desert Mofo, Mojo LE, Mofo LE and what struck my fancy as both a user and a looker was DC UNCLE MOFO!

I BLAME PORKERSON!!!!!!!

It was Erics fault that the Uncle came about. Even thought it was for Hoggish reasons (can we say variant?), Eric came up with the beautiful idea of grinding off the blade catch. I really don't care for the blade catches after I found out they didn't really pop tops. LOL Make a super thumb ramp and a really slicked profile. YOWZA!!!

Thank you Eric!

As you saw in the blurb there were supposed to be some Desert Uncles. I have never seen of heard of one for sale or nuttin. Never even saw a pic. If it exist, it's a very rare bird.

The Deserts are cool! A bit on the rare side for use, compared to the standard Mojos, but if ya got it and enjoy it, go for it.

I have a pair of desert Mr. Mofos looking for their desert Uncle. Someone had better send one this way so these boys aren't lonely. :D

I have a used Mr. Mojo LE and it is quite a chopper eventhough I believe it was designed more as a fighter. It definitely is sharp enough and has enough forward weight to do the job. It is like a big recurved child of a razor blade and splitting maul!
