Sal:
I have an old Spyderco catalog with a separate insert of beautiful MOKI lockbacks.
The people at Ironstone have said that Spyderco is no longer importing most of the Moki line into the US. Could you give me the address for MOKI knives so that I can contact them directly! Thanks for your consideration, Jeffrey

Spyderco is still importing Moki for Ironstone. They don't carry all of the models as Moki makes many, but they do stock a fair selection and have been known to speical order.

Moki makes excellent knives, but too expensive for the normal distribution chain. Ironstone is wotrking with existing designs and Spyderco is working with Moki on possible new Moki designs. Please try them again, I know there are some new people over there.

Ah, these Mokis! Am I the only one that discovered this gem? It's somewhat expensive; but its quality is a custom level. Mine (I believe it's the "Evirna" model)is mirror polished inside and out and has a handle with exquisit pearl and abaloni inlay! Its fit and finish is immaculate: it "walks and talks" with glass-smooth opening and closing you've got to handle to appreciate.

There's the 90th Anniversary knife from Moki in my local knifeshop. I haven't touched it, but it sure looks good. It comes with a wooden (the shopkeeper said it's balsa) case and a Cordura pouch. Those bolsters BEG to be touched!

I've seriously considered buying it.

My two bits,

Anyone know the URL for Ironstone?

Yeah I'm crazy, but what do you want me to do about it
