Moki knives

We actually do hear a lot about Moki on these forums... The Al Mar SERE, an almost universally admired knife, is made by Moki.

I had a Moki FRN handled folder but traded it to another Formite last year.I sure do miss that knife.tom.:(

I love Moki knives. Some of the nicest, best finished knives made by a factory. The Moki Silver Feather is one great gents folder. I love that little fixed blade in your picture too.

I have two Moki pocket knives, both are nice. One has a blade shape pretty much the same as the knife in the picture, with a high hollow grind. The Moki Glory I have has a nice quince handle, a very nice gentleman's knife.

I have a few zytel Mokis that are very similar to the one's that this thread's poster showed. They are really nice knives with thin, flat grinds. Cutting wise, they are similar to the geometry of Spyderco's Dragonfly and Calypso. Come to think of it, Moki might well make those for Spyderco if not G. Sakai.:)

Moki makes the Osprey knives for Al Mar.

I have 8 of them!

They also made the Spyderco Jess Horn (original) with bone handles.
The finest manufacturing of any "factory" knife I have ever handled. The quality is very comparable to that of the William Henry knives.

Moki makes alot of knives, mostly for spyderco, al mar, a.g. russell (I believe they do on this one, someone please correct me if Im wrong), and others. They do make their own, but most are made for other knife companies.

My Moki Glory with cocobolo scales is far and away the best fit & finish I have ever seen on a production model. I would recommend one highly.

I got my new Moki. The picture (which can be found via a link at the beginning of this thread) does not reveal this little beauty's true qualities. It is perfectly fitted without any flaws whatsoever.

The 2 inch blade in VG-10 is hollow ground and scary sharp. It is mirror polished and has black etching and also "VG-10" inlaid in gold. It has a wharncliff shape and ridges on the spine and in the choil.

The sheath is very well made. It is very similar in finish and quality to the sheath that originally came with the mirror-polished Spyderco Moran. I would not be surprised if they both came from the same factory.

With its overall length of 6 inches I find it to be a perfect non folding pocket knife. It slips easy into my front jeans pocket.
I think Gary Graley would love this one :)
