testing. cannot reply to this thread. testing again lets try this one more time....So NOW it works......after I post a thread on Tech support. Im going to do short phrases....as that is all I can seem to do with this reply.
Fill sink hot water
Submerge sheath into hot water for at least 20 minutes
Wrap blade in saran wrap and tape it up
Use latex gloves....don't get fingerprints on leather from this point on
Pull sheath out of water and insert blade into sheath at desired position
Using fingers, press down the leather around the blade, especially handle area, molding the leather around the blade/handle
Keep doing this for a few minutes as the leather dries.
If the leather is dry enough to hold it's shape, take blade out
You can leave it in the leather if you like, I take the blade out
Once leather is fully dry, it will be formed to the blade
Use Neats foot oil to darken leather if desired.
