Here's a quick question.
I was making a molded leather sheath for my latest knife creation. I wet the leather with tap water, and molded it around the knife until it assumed the correct shape, then let it dry.
Now the leather is stained. It's still usable, but I'll have to dye it. (I prefer to keep the sheaths natural color.)
Is there any way to keep the leather from staining during the molding process?
