Something is different. The mole jack was advertised as being sharper.
So Mole Jacks are sterile, while all SJT are logoed? OK, that helps.
But what about the blade profile?
Skunk described them as:
"only time and very limited, .187 thick, sterile, very nicly done and a special extra sharp "Mole Edge"
very few, very nice, very..... center of the earthly.'

"The Mole Jack has a 3/16th" non-serrated blade, same thickness as the standard Satin Jack Tac. It has a different edge profile than the regular Satin Jack Tac; I'm not sure if it has a totally different grind or not. It is also supposed to have a different coating although it looks similar to the black crinkle coating. Anybody have any info on the coating?"

"Mole Jack configuration of the Satin Jack Tac. This was a limited run with a more thinly-ground profile for super-aggressive cutting and penetration. Im not the original owner, but it appears new, unused, uncarried, unsharpened. Trying the edge with my thumb suggests it is aggressively sharp.
Blade length is 6 ½ from micarta handle slab to point, and overall length is 12. Black crinkle finish with gray/black micarta slabs. No sheath. Blade thickness appears to be right at 3/16. Weight is approx. 13 oz. with great balance (balance point is just behind the guard), making this one of the fastest full-tang Busse creations in hand.
Sharper and fastera very impressive refinement of the popular Satin Jack Tac design."
Has anyone done a side-by-side comparison that can enlighten us?

We need pics!
