A few months ago I started trying out a molle belt and went cheap to see if I liked it. I did like it and it was useful and very versatile. The only problem was the belt would roll and didn't stay adjusted to the same size all the time, the buckle slipped. So I upgraded the belt after some research to a Hsgi belt. Its a huge improvement, it has velcro inside the belt to attach to the duty belt and hold it in place. Its got neoprene on the inside so it dosn't slip on your clothes. I stayed with the IMI holster and mag pouch because they work great. My next upgrades will be a better flashlight pouch, a med pouch and water bottle holder.

My next upgrade is to make another kydex sheath for the tglb in od green. Gotta match.

Looks really nice. How is it for comfort? I have never really cared for wider belts, my gut always seems to be in the way, but that one looks like it wouldn't bother you too much. Have you noticed it slipping when more weight is added to the belt?

Garth

Its pretty comfortable the neoprene really adds some cushion, depending on how much weight you add and where it is located it still dosn't slip but does get back heavy if you add a couple of canteens. It has attachments for suspenders but that makes it more space consuming, I use it for a grab belt for outdoor pests at the moment. If I was going to put a lot more weight on it I'd use the suspenders like the old alice belts and system the army gave me a long time ago. The molle just makes it more modular.

Well-engineered rig. Is that a M21 Glock?

Only problem I see is in your fundamentals. You're way too lean. Need to pork up a little and add some inches and capacity to that Hsgi.

Hey Cricket, how do you like that Glock holster? I have a 17 and was thinking about getting one myself.

Yep its a glock21, I've got a conversion barrel from storm lake for 10mm as well and a boat load of mags for both. I really like the 10mm. My favorite load right now is a 200grain cast bullet over 5.3grains of titegroup gives me 1025fps.

The holster is really well made, better than a few other more expensive ones I tried and the gun dosn't fall out while I'm running or scrambling around but is still quick to draw. I really like all the options for belt or paddle or molle attachments too. My daughter has one for her glock26 and her EAA witness 45 and likes them alot too.

I need to drop a few pounds still, after I got injured a couple years ago I can't run much anymore. Too much damage to the inside of the pelvis and joint. Still a 32 waist just not as solid as it used to be. Oh well I just turned 50 so I'm not to bummed that I can't still run a PFT for a 21yr old.

Good info--thank you.

For 50, that right there is hog heresy.

nice lookin rig. i never thought about something like but it looks pretty handy.

Looking good! I've been thinking about a similar rig.
I may use the H-harness with the molly back for a hydration pack and to help with the weight.

If I'm going to carry a hydration bladder which I prefer over a canteen I really like the Bcm chest rig. That or depending on what I'm doing a plate carrier.

Thanks for the info. The only part I am lacking is the 32" waist. I am almost back into 36" and that is better than the 40" that I was 3 months ago. Maybe someday I will see 32" again.
