Picked up one of these today via trade w/ venmm73 (great guy btw).

It is CAVERNOUS! WOW...didnt realize it was so big.

Specs per canteenshop.com:
Ideal for storing personal items, or EDC. Features two exterior pencil holders, flap closure with zippered pocket. Seals with hook and loop system and snap buckle. Expandable center, zippered pocket with moisture retardant lining. Loops to attach to your belt or MOLLE strapping to attach to other gear. Overall outside dimensions 5.75 inches high, 3.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. This thing holds more than meets the eye! (I AGREE W/ this statement!)

I am going to attach it to my BK2 sheath for an all inclusive survival kit. Gimme some suggestions if you would. I have a couple kits but like to hear other's thoughts as i might have missed something. Fill it to the rim guys....

Thanks Rich for the great trade!

There'a about 10 feet of jute twine inside there too.
Still room to spare if I need anything else.

duct tape, button compass, sharpener, butterfly closures, gauze pad....

...many other things, I'm sure. I've got the same pouch and turned mine into my outdoors camera/cellphone pouch. It was surely bigger than I thought it'd be.

I hear ya man...when venmm73 told me about it i had an idea...didnt know it was sooo big.

Duct tape CHECK!
Compass CHECK
More first aid CHECK!

Thanks!

This is a great looking kit bag! I ordered mine today after watching yer vids. I'll be using mine on a Kydex sheath for a Trailmaster. It looks kinda big, but i don't have to fill it all the way to capacity!!!

I forgot to add the one from canteenshop looks just like the one from maxpedition for half the price!!! Great find!

Before i got a Proteus waist-pack my kit was in a maxpedition pouch similar to that one.

At that point my kit was very similar to the one Cliff posted above.

I've still got some pics... Click to view fullsize.

What I didn't have then, and would include now is some water purification tabs, and if I didn't EDC one, a bandanna.

I have just like it (bought from these guys http://www.canteenshop.com/id78.html ) and it's awesome. I'd post up some pics, but i've been swamped with photography the last 6 weeks (something like 5gb to process...).

The only problem i have is that mine has blown the ribbon-tape on the flap pocket.
