Hey the bag I hung my Katydyne Hiker filter off my pack with went west.

Can y'all reccomend some sort of sturdy web pouch I could put on the outside of my pack that would hold one?

I'm thinking it's about 7" long and 4" across at the widest.

I purchased a couple of military style molle pouches that would fit your needs perfectly. They are 7"x 5" x 3" and are tough as nails. Picked them up on ebay for a lot less than name brand stuff.

I've tried almost all the major brands and have found that the easiest pouches to attach and remove are those from 5.11.
