A good morning to you all,
I have completed the forge body with the stainless tube suspended inside the forge. The forge is well insulated [a 4inch layer] and of course stands upright. There is around 8inches of clearence from the floor to the bottom of the 20x3 inch stainless tube. If possible I would like to put the burners, n.g., on three sides of the tube containing the salt so there will be an even heat distribution. Do you think this is sound reasoning? How might
I go about constructing a three burner venturie burner, If needed? I have 25
pounds of n.g. The thermal couple well is in the bottom of the tube.
In advance, thank you, Fred

If I were in your shoes, I would choose one air-forced type burner. You will have much more control over the heat and much safer, as your forge will have much less opening, compared to normal forges, to hold the heat. I have built a venturi for my forge but I after I connected to a blower it performed better.
