Moly-Vanadium stainless steel??

I just ran the query on knife steel chart which returned 318 different alloys with Molybdenum and Vanadium :) Those have over 1000 different names.

By popularity, well can be vg10.

Moly and Vanadium are fairly common elements in steel alloys. Like Gator said, the description "Moly-Vanadium stainless steel" applies to hundreds of alloys.

Everything from 1.4116 (with properties similar to 420HC) to VG10.

The actual properties of their particular alloy would be dependent on how much Carbon is in the alloy. But they don't tell you that.
