She lives in CA. Dad`s old M1 Carbine makes her a felon now.
Go figure.

FNG,
Why are you suprised?? Nothing suprises me anymore,if you don't expect anything, nothing can suprise you!By the way,you "ARE" planning on attending the HI,KUK. convention in FLA.in Dec.aren't you?

FNG, it's pretty sad isn't it that our state and federal governments, by their determination to destroy the freedoms guaranteed by the second amendment, are making criminals of many, many folks who, otherwise, are law-abiding, upstanding citizens. But what I find to be the scariest part of it is the government's single-minded, rabid obsession with the issue. If you look at what Klinton has done and at what Gestapo Gore is talking about doing, if elected, the future looks really bleak. Though I am usually not a single-issue voter, I will be this year because I'm afraid this coming election may be our last chance to save our already crippled right to bear arms. If Gore gets in, there's no telling where it will all end. The sad part is, the average American doesn't give a rat's ass -- their apathy a byproduct of ignorance. Guess I'll get off my soapbox now and go write a congressman or two.

We are still deer hunting in Dec. this year. F&G, and some mild winters, let the population get out of hand. FL might be a better place to be, however.
A rider prohibiting possession of weapons to under age 12 slipped through last year. That kind of screws up the state firearms safety program which has been very sucsessful.
The DNR didn`t catch it. They have submitted a change proposal. Another instant felony.
I dont know if they think this much, but if they can keep kids from guns until they are interested in girls, etc., we`ll lose a generation, and no one will be there to support conservation in the future.
I guess we all should get used to being felons.

What new law did they pass out there now?

(Sorry guys, I'm in FL, been working late, and haven't seen any TV news lately.)

Hey guys, the M1 carbine, M1A, and Mini-14s are so far still being sold at the gun shops here in Kalifornia. The magazines that hold more than 10 rounds are prohibited for sale or barter. How can they enforce that?

I was watching a History Channel program on machine guns. Apparently there hasn't been a murder committed by a legally owned machine gun since 1934. Seems like that old saying is right, "If you outlaw guns, the only people who will have them are outlaws."

I think that Kali registers "assault weapons". Why not put a sign on your door,"Please kick me in someday." WW11 Mom`s are too smart to register a right.
