Well...sitting here at my desk...looking at my EDC rotation.
Poor little 102BR. :(
It arrives in the mail. New owner opens the box. Loves the 102. Tosses the box in the recycle. Has second thoughts. Takes it out of the recycle.
Says "ahh, the heck with it". Tosses box back in recycle.

Thanks to the bucknuts there's a couple of EDCs that has left the 102 out of the reindeer games. Time for the closet.

Anyone have a 102BR (Idaho) box with a Halloween (10/31/05) print on it?

Goose.

Never... Never.... EVER... through away the box. I usually collapse mine flat by simply opening both ends, make a neat stack out of them, rubber band them together and store them with the other Buck paraphernalia in the back of the closet. Sheaths, for the knives in display cases, are stored seperately as well....

yep i agree if it is the correct stuff keep it ...
now i do buy with out the stuff - to me it is like saveing the window sticker off a new car... great but not required to buy a used collector car so i dont worry .... i only keep the stuff cause others may want it if i come across soemthing i want to traide for...
to me it is all about the knife not the paper work but others are in a diffrent level of collecting ... my brother is like that ....

In the style of Larry & Larry's brother... "I'M SORRY!!!!"

It was done in a moment of insanity. I knew when I did that I'd regret it. Since I decided "just to collect 110's" :foot: I save all my 110 boxes, inserts, packing, etc.

I must suffer so that others may learn.

What a Maroon...
Goose.

Yeah, yeah, I'm weak. ;)
For those old enough to remember...it's like those commercials on TV about how it all starts with one hit off a joint. Now I'm a crack mama.
I'm thinking, hey, I want a 55, a 501, maybe another 112.
Has anyone left the "cult" and was it with a 12 Step Program?
I'm eating frickin' Cup o' Noodles for lunch to defer $$ and support my habit.
What the heck is wrong with me????????????????

Whats wrong????? yer a friggen BUCK ADDICT, wait til you have so many you're not sure what box or sheath goes with what knife. Then worse, wait til you have to part with them to stay afloat. Its like getting teeth pulled with out any novacaine.. Goose its even worse than a chrome habit!!

Dunno 'bout that..... :D :D :D

My '79 Shovelhead is torn down at the moment getting a new paint job and some shiney goodies..... got a few things on eBay to help "defer" the cost.

I'm not sure about that. A bad chrome habit can set you back a lot more than a new Buck knife will. I've got my eye on a new (or restored) big b lock mustang. The wheels are currently turning in my head trying to figure out how I can finance it. :D So far my wife has stayed silent on the subject, but that may change when she finds out how much its going to cost. :(

Maybe you guys have a point, I've added about every available piece of chrome I could to my Valkyrie.
