Hmm, now where would the Kamis get apple wood? ;)

I have always resisted getting started on HI swords, but this one is pretty tempting. Somebody do me a solid and buy this thing! :D

Man, it's DotD's like this that make me wish I had waited till now to get an EK! :eek:

I've said it before, but it bears repeating, Bura is the MAN! :thumbup:
 
Yeah, I just gave my CS katana to my daughter (She's 26). She's been wanting that thing since I got it. I'll get another one day. Besides, I just ordered a new HI khuk.

I have to agree RE: Bur's EK's.... Sandy and I have 2 EK's.... one by Vim (Tied with Bura for Our Fav. Kami) and One by Bura.
The Bura Blade seems a bit lighter in the hand than Vim's..... but we Love 'em both!!
I wore Bura's EK to the New York Renn Faire and got quite a few Very Positive comments!!
The Smiths @ "BlackSmith" shop there were Very Impressed with the HI Blades... I wore Our Wakashai (sp?) one weekend and the Bura Katana one weekend.
The Smith kept swinging it and examining it (The Everest Katana by Bura) closely......... they LOVED the handcraftmanship.
Sandy's Lil Rusty was a hit as well!!

I am trying to hold off buying another Bura Kat I found ..... I think I am starting to weaken tho!!!!

I was wondering when that thing was going to sell - the handle is beautiful and the rest is amazing as well! Surprised it stayed up for so long :p
