I'll let someone else snag this though... saving up for more of a heavy duty chopper :)
Here's to hoping for a 20"er or so in the next couple of days ;)

The handle on this Haysia is made by my baje (baje means grandfather in Nepali) and it is the last he will make for a while. He's going back to New York with us to visit the rest of the family and after that he will be returning home to Nepal. So ladies and gentelmen this is your opputernity to own one of my baje's special's.

Well, I know we will all miss "Baja" Pala. His handles are the best, bar none and I am honored to be able to own two of them on knives and one one a sword. I am sure that Auntie Yangdu will miss him and you. As I have said a number of times already, I know what it is like to live a long distance from the family, at least my family is in the same country and same side of the world with me. Being half a planet away must be even harder for Yangdu. :(

I hope all of you who will be traveling soon stay safe and arrive healthy and in good shape. Reno to New York is a long enough journey to undertake, let alone the trip from NYC to Kathmandu!(then by land to home) Take care of those new eyes Kami Sherpa, I know that the Bir Ghorka folks will have to step it up once you get back. Now that you can see what is going on there, I am guess that we will see a jump in quality, not that one is needed.

I don't know how to say, "Have a safe trip" in Devanagari but I know you understand my English. Take good care if yourself, travel safe, be well and wish all the kamis back in Nepal my best. Especially give the Royal Kami, Bura, a hearty and shake (or a hug if you are willing) and tell him we are all hoping he is well.

Good Bye Pala! We Will Miss You! :)

I may sound like an old man but I think it's really cute to see a young girl with a foot long blade :)
