For those of us that carry a knife that doubles as a money clip, I'd like to know what knives folks here are currently using for that purpose. I've carried a Spyderco Co-Pilot for about 5 years now and I'd like to rotate it occasionally with a lighter weight knife. TIA -Rick

Spyderco...
Cricket
Dragonfly
Almite Navigator

of course, after buying a money clip, you need money to put in it... Send it here and I'll use it, I have $200 just laying in my room, saving for an LCC D/A, but that gives me another couple months to use the clip for yah...

I used a CRKT KISS as a money clip for awhile, but as a knife it was nearly useless, and I use a wallet anyway, so I sold it.

rick,
I would suggest the Spyderco/Wegner Mouse as a good money clip/knife combo but I doubt that it is lighter than the Co-Pilot that you are currently using. Still, give it some thought as I think that this little knife would double as a money clip just fine.

Except for the two times -- early on -- when it opened a bit in my pocket and I stuck myself, have been very pleased with my CKRT Peck as a money clip. Haven't yet tried to use it as a knife.

I'll second the Cricket and slotted almite Navigator. Both are great and are very light. If you want a slightly more expensive knife with lots of class, go for either the BM 330 with the money clip (335??) or the Toad.
Good Luck,
Matt

I use a Kershaw Little Deschutes, even if I use a wallet. It has passed security inspections at the airport. They never know that the cute looking money clip doubles as a knife. ;)

Thanks for the good suggestions. I'm currently leaning toward the "Chive" since I've been wanting to pick one of these for a while (now I have an excuse!). Thanks again. -Rick
