A friend of mine who knows I'm a cigar man brought me a little payment back from his trip to Europe in exchange for his knife.

Needless to say, I am very happy.

(disclaimer: if anyone on here is a Customs Agent, part of the ATF&E, or any other form of LEO, he just brought me the box.)

...;)

sweet sir. a good cuban is hard to beat. or in your case a good box that once housed cubans :)

By Tuesday or Wednesday, I'm sure that statement will be accurate. lol

Normally I'm not really super big on the Cubans. Personally, and I know some of the aficionados would crucify me for saying this, I don't think that in the most common cases(Romeos, Cohibas, the norm) there is enough of a difference between them and the good cigars I smoke all the time to warrant the price. The good Cuban Partagas however, yes indeedy. I had one of the shorties earlier. Definitely worth the dough... or in this case, knife.

Oh yeah.. I'm gonna smoke a Cohiba tomorrow, then a Partagas on Thanksgiving Monday(In Canada):p

Cuban cigars grow on trees in Canada..lol

Well I'm going to walk down the street with my ak and a whole sack full of high capacity mags tomorrow.

...so nah.

That DOES make us canucks jealous :p

I'm more of a dominican person myself, but a cuban is still good anyday :D

You can walk down the street with an Ak:eek: That's so badass.

How about I bring few boxes of cubans down and trade you for some trigger time with that AK?:D

I could be wrong, but it's not just the Cuban cigar that is "illegal" but anything made in Cuba since there is a ban on spending money on anything made in Cuba. So maybe the box was made in Taiwan :D With all that said, I've smoked Cuban cigars and never found them to be anything too special.

DONE!!

Thread reported......to Castro.

Go ahead. Castro and I have a mutual friend.

You know, as far-fetched and silly as that sounds, I hate to admit that surprisingly enough, it's actually true. lol

Since someone paid with a fine cigar box, mind if I pay with a fine bourbon bottle?
I'm sure it will still smell nice and maybe even have a droplet or two left in the bottom!!! :D

Who am I kidding?!! It'll be completely empty!!!;):D

There slot of cigars that are par or better. But we always WANT what we can't get or have. That's what makes them special  :D

Yep, sort of like some hot little blonde headed gal that everyone lusts after. As someone once told me that no matter how sexy she may look there is someone out there who is already tired of her. The grass is not always greener. In fact, it hardly ever is.

green grass - much like hot little blondes - is generally higher maintenance....

I was always told, "No matter how good looking she is, it still stinks when she takes a $hit." I never quite looked at a hot chick the same. LMAO. Moose

Lost a 200 dollar humidor full of as much in cigars and pipe tobacco to Military Movers about two years ago. They called last month and told me they found my life's poesessions. I think I have 3 SOG seal pups, 4-5 bolt knives, an Ontario machete, field axe and a bunch of other goodies in there too!
