Money Order question

Sorry to the mods for this being kinda off topic, but it involves paying for a busse so please bear with me.(feel free to move it where you see fit if its in the wrong forum)

Anyways, I;m buying a blade off the exchange via USPS money order. I've never done a MO before and usually use paypal. I'm filling out the MO, what do I fill in on the Line that says "C.O.D. NO. OR USED FOR"?

I've actually received them before that were completely blank except for the part that USPS fills in (the amount)

It doesn't seem to matter what is filled in anywhere except the amount of the MO (which is done when you buy it)

I just use it as a memo line to indicate what it is I'm buying with the MO in case the receiver gets a lot of MO's they know what mine is for.

I like to write exactly what I'm buying...

So for example if I'm buying a Bark River Bravo 1, I'll write exactly that.

"Bark River Bravo 1". Or abbreviated, like "Brk Rvr Brvo 1"

(And I'd avoid writing the word "knife" anywhere on the Money Order;
I've got to respectfully disagree with the post above by Gary007 on that.)
 
I always see Camping Tool on money orders:thumbup::thumbup:
 
I leave that part blank and usually only put the sellers name and mine.

The PO told me it really didn't matter if anything is own it, but I feel better putting our names on.
 
I like camping tool. Seems inconspicuous enough. This is a FFFBM though, so maybe I'll put Anti-Zombie Device.
 
The main thing is to put the name & address of the person receiving the funds, and your name & address. If the M.O. gets lost/stolen from the mail, anyone can fill in their name and cash it. All other info is optional.
 
You might want to send it return reciept . So seller has to sign for it . Got burned twice last year " lost in mail "
 
I put my name, seller's name and the item purchased on the MO. I record the rest of the info on the receipt for my benefit.

i put what i bought on the receipt, which i save for a while.

on the actual m/o, it probably doesnt matter. you could put edible underwear and no one would care.
