I just bought an X-Rite eye-one display LT calibrator, and now everything looks drastically different. The biggest difference is in the blues on this site. They appear to be more blue-gray than the bright blue that I was seeing before. Is this what BF was supposed to look like all along?

yep...amazing what a little calibration can do, eh? I have a couple crt monitors calibrated using a GretagMacbeth Eye Display 2 for graphic design work - a must have.

Ok, well that's good to know.

I guess I can say that I strongly recommend the eye-one display LT. :D

The only bad thing is that now my platinum is looking a little tarnished. :(

Very blue-gray to me... calibrated by Pantone.

The real payoff, though, is when you print and see the colors and say, "Yes! That looks great."

I'm having trouble with Lightroom, now. All the blues look purple.

This photo looks right on here and in Photoshop, but in Lightroom the shirt and socks are a deep purple. Lightroom has been frustrating me a lot, lately...

Love my Mac monitor. Colors look great right out of the box.

Great shot, TS!

But please instruct the tyke to keep his on the ball. ;) :D
