Monkey fist

I know this doesn't directly relate to knives but me and my son have wanted to make monkey fists for a while. I have a lot of paracored and even bought 10 one inch ball bearings. I have watched a lot of online videos but I still can't do it. Got any advise?

Youtube videos are very helpful with these projects. Best place for these threads is probably Maintenance, tinkering, and embellishment. Since a lanyard is considered by most as an embellishment and it is tinkering to an extent (2 out of 3).
