Hi all,
I wanted to take a moment to show off my new monkey fist made by U812 here on the forums. He's a super guy and sent me this one a few days ago. Here is a thread with the specs:

First, I really never considered it a weapon until I did some reading. However, I have found it VERY useful for several things. Mainly, it's a really handy way to keep my keys handy. With the weight of the ball bearing in the monkey fist, it's easy to balance in the middle of the lanyard and keep my keys in my hand while I'm walking.
Jeff really does a nice job on the actual product. It's made well, and the little topknot is just plain cool. I'm sure if you would like one, you can contact him.
Here are a few pics to show off. My wife ordered one from Jeff also. She loves how she can sling it around her purse strap and keep her keys from falling into the bottomless pit that is her woman bag.
Thanks Jeff!
Brett
