Just got the new 0550 scale in today:
It works really nice on the 0550.
It wouldn't be as great on the 0551, as the 0551 has a much larger chamfer around the edge. The extra chamfer actually makes the 0551 nicer to use for hard use, as in actually using the knife to cut forcefully, not prying.
The 0550 DID work quite nice for prying the veneer off the coffee table though. Between the 0550 and a long screwdriver, I had the proper tools for the job.
The 0550 was great for chipping off all the old, degrading glue as well. It doesn't work as a power sander though...how disappointing.
The 0550 looks WAY better with the new scale, and peels less skin off my hand when I reach past it in the pocket to get my wallet. Grippy enough without being a skin remover.
