Hog hunters beware! :D

Well since it is still Halloween season and being a sucker for a good monster flick, just thought I'd give a heads-up on what seems to be a good movie on the said genre. Think "beast of mythical proportions terrorizing the local populace" e.g. - Jaws, Lake Placid, Brotherhood of the Wolf, etc. You see, many, many years ago, I remember watching an Aussie flick about a monstrous boar/pig wreaking havoc on a town in the outback. I happen to like it and from what I understand it was a box office hit -

Now "Chaw", a Korean film seems to be along the same great lines. Clicketh below for the DVD info and a sweet clip -

The production values seem to be similar to the "The Host" (2006) which was  and even became South Korea's highest grossing film to date .

Hey, it could happen right? Didn't they shoot down Hogzilla recently?

One of my all time favorite movies. I especially like it when the animal rights activist gets dragged out of her little car and eaten by a wild boar the size of a rhino. Then her husband finds the engagement ring in some giant hog droppings. The scene with the hog dragging off a wall and TV while the man is watching it is funny, too. Why don't movies like this get academy awards?

I was expecting Stallone to come out with an M60 while screaming something completely unintelligible.

That "chaw" looks pretty wicked !! I've seen razorback before... Was a pretty good movie, they could've done better with the showing of the pig but was still a good movie..

Thanks;)

Just thought I'd bump this for those who haven't seen "Razorback" yet -
