23 inches OAL, 16 inch blade from 1065 with cord wrapped integral socket handle. It's about 2.5 inches wide at the widest part of the blade.

If I was ever presented with a monster bush, that would be my trimming tool of choice! ... Erm, yeah. Nice work!

Tai made me a knife awhile back, and it sees quite a lot of use. I split wood with it regularly and often hit it with large chunks of wood to remove large chunks of wood from large chunks of wood. Not a roll or chip to be found in almost two years. I cuts an empty pop can in half as if the can wasn't even there. It's an amazing knife, and a life long companion.

I also had the good fortune of picking up a couple of his knives on the aftermarket for such a smoking good deal I couldn't pass em up, even though $ was scarce at the time. One of these knives cuts all my leather, which is a decent amount, and I am always shocked by how keen the edge still is.

Both of these knives I hit up with a fine Spyderco ceramic from time to time. That's it. Hair poppin edges.

All three knives fulfill some sort of duty within my arsenal, which is growing at an alarming rate. The thing is, they don't hang with the other knives because they just get used too much. For many different things.

From a performance standpoint, I don't think there's too much out there that can perform as well as a Goo. These knives are made to cut! And Tai is a master when it comes to the edge, which he hand finishes, (I'm not a fan of machine finished edges...). This is no hype, it's just my opinion.

And, cool thing is, Tai Goo is almost 'hype proof'! His philosophy is embodied by such a broad view that he knows his place in this here universe. Interestingly it is the ego that some people see, but I don't think it's the ego that drives Tai. He's like some kind of weird dervish, or a leprechaun. A force of nature.

Anyway, I gotta say, Tai, that you are a great knife maker and all around interesting dude.

Keep up the good work!

I gotta tell ya, I didn't know whether to click into this thread or not. Monster Bush?!:eek::confused::eek::confused:
Then I saw Tai Goo was the author and any doubt was gone.
I love what you do with natural handle materials and steel, Tai.
Truly tribal.:thumbup::D

Man, that knife speaks to me. Unfortunately one of the things it says is "you can't afford me".
