We're renting a property that has had it's back yard left to grow for some 10 years. It's been de-graded so that 3/4 of the yard is a standing water bog through dogs running around in it and settling, and the ivy has grown into trunks around the trees. There was at least one full dead standing tree back there rotting at 20 feet high.

I had never seen an Ivy trunk before, but here they are o_o. The 1311 is a dream to use, the wetterlings was for the larger trunks and stuff too high up to reach otherwise.

Wow! I have chopped a ton, maybe several tons of ivy and never seen trunks that large. What a job!
