Now THIS is a knife..:D

13.75" overall
8.5" blade of CPM 3V
5.25" handle of Arizona Desert Ironwood w/ red liners, brass corby bolts

I drilled out the hande a LOT on this one...and used thinner stock (overize 3/16"). Add to that the density of the ironwood...makes the balance on this one perfect!

Feels light enough to carry....yet, being 3V, is practically indestructable.

The only sad part of this knife is that this is the ONLY ONE...and is already SOLD.

Hope the new owner will be    when he sees it. :D

Thanks for looking!!!

Dan

:D:D PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

I can guarantee you that you have surpassed whatever expectations the new owner had; I think "Function Balanced With Beauty" could not be more appropriate (that might even be an understatement), I guess we will just have to wait for a review!!

;);)

I just double-checked and it is not April Fool's Day!

Right? Right?? No jokes today, okay?:cool:

no jokes, bro. All for real...and every bit of it headed your way. :D :p

I will post a review and some more pics after it gets here; I think I'll take it up to the Smokies for a weekend of camping and bring the horses and family along, too!:D

 Never mind, the wife says:rolleyes: She is taking the horses camping up in the Smokies and that she's bringing the family along with her but I can bring the"Nessie" if I have to! You know I'll have to!

I guess it's all a matter of perspective!

Just a few more days 'til the weekend!

LOL!!!!

:D  :p

Man...SWMBO....how do they always get what THEY want?

Ok...wait...I remember...:foot:

:o

Dan,

I couldn't tell if you got the PM's I sent or not plus we don't have e-mail access where I am right now; but I was just wondering what the status of the sheathes and both of the Nessie's is. :D

Appreciate it bro'!

I emailed you about the basket weave pattern - if it was ok with you. Look here at what I normally get done:

If that pattern is ok with you - then we are good to go.

Yes, I did get your email with your weave...it's similar, but not the same. Let me know.

Thanks!

Dan

I didn't get the e-mail for obvious reasons!

The basketweave works for me, so let's make that a go ; but what are the other patterns he can put on the perimeter that are different than "stars"?

If there's not an option then just go with it as is! It will serve it's purpose.:)

Dan,

You think I could get a pic of the spine so I can show it to some friends up at Bragg they seemed pretty interested but they wanted to see a spine shot, I wouldn't mind it either for comparison!:thumbup:
