OK, not really a monster. I just got a new RSK. This one in orange was on backorder for a while. It's a modified Benchmade Griptilian with a stonewashed finished blade in S30V. The handle is nylon. This is my first knife with the axis lock, and I like it. It rides nice and light in my pocket, too. I really can't carry my big Busse NMSFNO or a Rambo Knife around everywhere I go, you know. :D

Thanks, Ray. It looks like something from a dime store compared to your pretty knives. But the best knife in the world is the one you have when you need it, and I am likely to actually have this one with me just about any where.

The orange Ritter's are great.

I went and switched handles on mine from a regular orange Griptilian, and then they came out with them in orange.

So I got a factory orange and put the other orange handles on a 550HG. :D

I can't believe it, Vic has gone sheeple. He owns a knive that you can actually fit in a pocket.

Just kidding, good looking folder. How does the axis lock perform.

I have not used it yet, but the axis lock does have one cool feature, one hand closing. Just pull the button back and the blade can fall back to the handle. The lock appears to be strong with that steel pin locking the blade open.

My daughter is taking her Air Force physical today. I will keep this knife clean and unused. If she makes it into the AF, I'll have a graduation gift for her after basic training. All her knives are just too big. She likes khukris.

One of the best all around folders made IMO. Looks groovy in orange too ):

Sweet Knife Vic

Hope your daughter makes it in the AF

Thank her for her service!!

My new EDC is the 551 in orange. I really think the Grips and mini Grips are the best production folders out there, and the price isn't too bad when you shop online. I think I paid around $60 for mine.

I used to EDC a mini Grip, but now I am really liking the larger handle on the full sized model. It's too bad the Ritter models are so much more expensive, or I might have picked up one of those. I used to have his fixed blade (RSK II?) and liked it well enough.

That's a great looking blade, I really need to pick up one of those in black sometime. I think I once saw an OD one that would be sweet, but I might be making that up.

Love my Ritter Mini-Grip  Favorite folder by far. Nice score on that Orange Ritter Grip!. Been contemplating picking up a Ritter Grip, but I don't know if I'd carry it enough to justify it.

Maybe you're thinking of the Cabelas D2 version?

Got me. When I see "Monster" and HD I automatically think gator size.
STOP SHOWING ME KNIVES!
I've dang near bought every one you've posted pics of.
It's a good thing Busse doesn't keep the FBM's in stock.

My Ritter Grip is the best performing knife I have. The bevel kind of melts away to nothing. I'm sure you'll love yours.

Every time I come back to look at this thread, my will to not go and buy a Ritter Grip weakens just a little more....:o:D
