Monster Trucks!

Do any of you folks get into monster truck racing?
I really like the trucks but the racing I've seen is boring!
I would love to see them take the trucks out and do some real hill climbing and off roading that was rough enough to match the trucks capabilities!
I'm sure they'd have to make some changes to the trucks and add bigger fuel cells but it would be worth it!
Talk about monster truck racing!!!!! :D
 
I took my son to MonsterJam in Jacksonville in Feb. I posted a bunch of pictures in this thread HERE.

We both had a good time.
 
The facility that the racing is held at makes a huge difference.They have held them in a couple of really small arenas around here and even if I have nothing else to do,I won't go when it's at a venue like that.Most of what I've seen live have been at outdoor truck shows in the summertime and they are usually pretty good.I've also seen them on TV in the larger arenas and stadiums and that doesn't look to bad.If you haven't ever seen them live in a large venue,I'm sure it would be better.

the two places they race around here there on the throttle for alittle over a second and jump over 3 cars, not verry fun.
 
Baja is the pinnacle, held in Mexico.

but i think you meant CORR, Champ Off Road Racing which is held at actual tracks.
 
Every time I see em on the tube I wonder why they don't take em out in the boonies and do some real monster trucking! Climb a mountain or something! The power and tires those trucks have they should be able to do some serious climbing!
