Hi, my first post here
Newly received my favorite Monster folder by Mr. Duncan
Have it photographed by Mr. Highmore, turn out rather good picture which shows its cool well.

Daisy, welcome to BladeForums.

That's the nicest Duncan folder that I have seen.

There could end up being quite a few posts that mention Mr. Duncan's very poor reputation on this forum. That doesn't take away from how nice this knife is, but it will affect how many people feel about it.
 
This is indeed very nice, as most of Duncan's work is, but as Keith said, given his reputation, that dampers any enthusiasum one might have for it.There are many out there that have be burned by this fellow. He took a friend of mine for close to 4000.00 in damascus steel he never paid for:mad:so my opinion of him is not very high as well.
You probably did'nt know any of this, and I am sure you did'nt post this piece here expecting to hear negative feedback on the maker, so I will say no more, and say congrats on your purchase.

I agree that is is perhaps the nicest Duncan i've seen also.

When I saw the name, it was surprising considering the aforementioned issues associated with Brad Duncan.

OMG, I'v pre order another one from him since get a not bad impression for the first knife

Welcome daisy to the Blade Forums and to custom knife collecting in general.
That's a fine folder in every respect.

Puzzling why someone with such talent would resort to being dishonest.

Stick around, as there's plenty for a new collector to enjoy and learn here.
 
Very elegant and beautifully designed folder, Daisy. You do have an eye
for dramatic grinds as also seen in "Stelleto" you posted....
