Well I finally did it, I'm posting on a forum, definitely new territory for me but I think this event is most appropriate to start posting.
First and foremost I have to thank Josh and Jodi for their incredible hospitality.
I went to this event with my son thinking it would be a nice get-away for a few days and I could work a little and play a lot. I can't even begin to tell you what an enjoyable time it turned out to be. I had a chance to get to know some new makers and some collectors that I've known for a while but just never had the opportunity to talk at length. I got to shoot some fun guns and watch my son get another tattoo (thanks Steve Garsson) and after the show my son and I went to Glacier National Park to see the wonder and beauty of Montana and Gods creation. I cannot encourage collectors, makers and knife enthusiasts enough to go to an event like this. The experience was rich in education and in a social interaction that you simply don't get at a regular knife show.
I've posted shots of the event itself at http://www.fototime.com/inv/68036CCA0840C1A , I'll also be posting knife photos later today or Monday that I shot at the show.

Thanks for sharing your time in Montana, Eric. Great photos of beautiful country and the hammer-in. Look forward to the knife images.

Sounds like an excellent time! Yep, we are all looking forward to the pics. Montana is an absolutely gorgeous state!

Great pictures! It looks like everyone had a great time. I always marvel at those with the creative ability to take a block of steel and create not only something useful but a work of art.
