montana & S. dakota

This saturday I will be traveling to these 2 states. can someone please tell me what I can carry? Thanks

In Montana, dont conceal a fixed blade more that 4" inside a city limit, out in the open is OK. You can carry a concealed gun anywhere pretty much the same as the knife stuff. Where you going? We are on fire here!
 
Accually I'll be in yellowstone (I know it's in wyoming, wasn't thinking) and staying in west yellowstone montana. but we are stopping in s. dakota.
 
What Rob indicated for Montana pretty much holds true for S. Dakota. We're pretty liberal out here unlike the left coast and the eastern republicks.

Heck, I wear my Bowies sometimes hiking, just for entertainment (never had to defend myself yet from rabid bears), and it rarely provokes comment. Montana is pretty knife friendly.
 
With all the Motorcycles leaving S.D. I doubt that you'll even be seen!

Bald I - I just left Sturgis and didn't know you lived so close. How do you keep yourself sane this time of year with all the bikes?
 
It's pretty funny that you said you were more liberal! Don't you mean more conservative and less p.c.? Man I hope so, I always have these visions of Montana and the Dakotas being sort of last holdouts of the American frontier.
