i thought some of you fellows might find this interesting;
http://www.krtv.com/news/mt-fwp-sets-2011-wolf-hunt-quota-at-220/
fwp eliminated a pack of 30 something over the winter in our area due to excessive predation on deer,elk,moose, and livestock. the wife spoke with a fwp officer while out on her daily run that was near our cabin a couple weeks ago looking for wolf sign. he said that they thought they may have missed a couple and were wondering if we had seen any sign. she said no. the past couple of years we have seen more wolf tracks than elk. maybe not this year
we montana elk hunters thank you fwp
