As for the Case, I have to agree. I just got the 6.5 Bonestag CV stockman. Nice knife and great steel, but not nearly as much snap as the Queen Cattle King.
Just want to confirm that the following knives would therefore be made by Queen. http://www.bigbendsaddlery.com/mmknives.html Was thinking of ordering that BIG 4 1/2" stockman. Anyone have this one? Anyone do business with Big Bend Saddlery before?I vote for the Mooremaker 3 7/8 inch punchblade stockman in either Delrin or Buffalo Horn. These are made for MM on contract by Camillus. The bone and Stag MM's are made by Queen. I don't have anything against the Queens, in fact I have never held one. However I have the Delrin and Horn models, and they are my favorite carries. I also have a Case large stockman in CV. Nice but not enough snap in the springs. Also too rounded and overpolished.
