I don't have a Mooremaker but I have a couple of Winchesters that were made by the same company (yeah, they're Queens) and they are pretty good. If they're like the Winchesters, they will be a definite cut above Case quality, with good walk and talk, blades made of good carbon steel and a sharp point (which Case insists on tumbling away in giant polishing vats).
You don't have many options in slipjoints at that price point that will be better than Mooremaker. The Robeson marque is currently on hiatus. The quality Winchester repros are no longer made, but cheap Chinese imports are being sold under that name now. Schatt & Morgan seem to be producing knives with 420HC or 420J2 lately and they cost even more than the others. Heck, they're all made by Queen anyway.
If you want a really perfect slipjoint, you're gonna have to fork over a bit more money to a custom maker. Some can be fairly affordable, but still a good bit more expensive than a Mooremaker. You could always order one and check it out for yourself. If you don't like it, send it back.
