Long time no talk to Traditional forumites. I hope you've all been well. I have a question I thought you guys may be able to help me with. I'm in South Texas on a hunting trip and I picked up a Moore Maker 3101sp spear point hunter. Do any of you know who makes this knife for Moore maker?

I dont own a Mooremaker, but I beleive I read on here (BF) that Bears were marked with a B at the end of the pattern number stamped into the blade. I hope this is the correct info.

It's a Bear. What do you think about it? They mistakenly sent me a few and I am trying to decide whether to send them back or not as my fixed market is rather small.

Knifeswapper - I really like it. I bought the spearpoint not the drop point though. I like the length of it, it is a great camp/utility knife. Probably won't carry it for hunting as much since I prefer a knife with a gut hook. You probably wouldn't need to keep too many if you don't have alot of fixed blade buyers. The main reason I bought this one is because it had a logo of a local establishment near where I hunted this weekend. Nothing like a knife as a keepsake!!

I've been looking at that working fixed blade from Moore maker as well, glad to hear that you like it, the handles look rather smooth though, is there enough purchase on it when wet? The roper lockbacks look interesting anyone had any experiance with those?

I just looked at their website, and did not see a spearpoint fixed blade. Was this a special run?

matt009au, the handles are quite smooth. I haven't handled the knife wet, but I would be willing to bet it is a bit slick. Berzerker, I had trouble finding the number as well. If you look under the item number there are DP (Drop Point) and SP (Spear Point)
