I am considering purchasing a MooreMaker LINER LOCK TRAPPER ONE BLADE #5101LL. I have no experience with this company but have read many good reviews. Does anyone have any opinions or experiences with one of their liner lock knives? Most of the comments have been about MooreMaker's slipjoint knives. Thanks!!

Sir,
I built the website for Moore Maker, and take care of their online sales. I got involved with Moore Maker because of the 5101LL, I bought one from a feed store in South Texas, and broke the shield out of the handle soon after. I sent the knife in and recieved a new one 2 days later. Six months later I talked them into getting on the internet. About the 5101LL, I would say that it is a little tighter than most lock blade knives, both in opening the blade, and in unlocking the blade, it is not too tight by any means, but you have to mean to unlock it. This is the URL for that knife http://catalog.mooremaker.com/viewProduct.cfm?item_id=392440 FYI you may find it cheaper somewhere else. Also if for any reason you are not satisfied we will always take the knife back, the last thing we want is an unhappy customer. Hope this helps.

If you guys offered a Dr's. pattern, I'd probably HAVE to have it....but that #5200 in a natural smooth bone is certainly "drawing" on me.
