I just bought one of these and got a bit of a surprise. First, I have a half dozen MooreMaker knives and they're all excellent and great folks to deal with. My surprise came with this model when I folded out the two secondary blades. Strange and awkward feeling angle to these blades! Intially I was very skeptical and wondering if I had made a mistake with this knife. However, I'm finding out that the angle of the blade to the handle can be an advantage and actually quite handy for certain cutting chores. Anyone else have one of these and could you share your experiences and impressions?

HI GC. Sorry I don't have a MM whittler but I do like the pattern. If possible, please show us some photos that illustrate the issue. Does it have three springs for three blades? I'd like to see that. Thanks in advance.

Hi GC,

I had one in bone and loved it, I wish I would not have sold it now...I learned to love the design as you have...Good luck with it..

I think it's something that feels very awkward until you actually need to cut something with it. In looking at those sowbelly knives I see some of those blades have that same angle to them. It's an interesting pattern for sure.
