MOP Craftsman knife??

I didn't know they made MOP Craftsman knives??:confused:
Is this legit?

The etch says 9492
 
This knife and a similar metal handled knife appeared in the Sears catalogs (it is /was a catalog item) for quite a few years. I can't access my listings for that knife right now (computer at home is still blitzed), but it is a correct knife.

I looked at Michaels list and he has the 9492 as
9492 - SW 196 (1961) which is a florist knife.. We might need to back a little further.
 
That Craftsman underlined logo was in use from approximately 1948 thru 1960, if that helps.

I'll look thru the old Sears production sheets until I can get my computer list back up.

It was not uncommon for Sears to reuse their stock numbers for more than one design of knives, sometimes as many as three.
