Has anyone really BEAT on these knives? I don't mean that literally, I just mean have you used them hard? I can find tons of "reviews" of the knives, but to be honest, I find a review that says "Hey it's a nice knife for $30 and I'm going to buy more" kind of pointless.

I want some serious user feedback on these. Anyone?

Hey it's a nice knife for $30 and I'm going to buy more :D

Also, I have only been able to take out my Mora Bushcraft Triflex a few times now but it's batoned and carved beautifully. It certainly doesn't feel like it'll break, not when batoning wood that's sized appropriately for it. Also I was pretty stupid one day (long day) and tried to pry something with the tip, when I thought I broke the tip I examined it and it only bent slightly -- no breakage. So far the Triflex has been good to me.

I'm sure I could break it on a big log, though.

i have the mora 2000 and i love it.its a great LIGHT weight option. i have beat the piss out of it and its fine dandy.

the really thing you have to watch out for is twisting the blade when you baton.
i did that with the mora classic #1 and bent the cutting edge a little.but for 30 bucks i would buy the becker necker. no way are you going to bent or break that plus the sheath on the mora is crappy. granted it alot better on the mora 2000. but for the money i would get the bk11.awesome sheath.

32 dollars from amazon. and you can have it in 3 days.

The sheath is a very minor detail. I get generic leather sheaths from Blade Matrix that fit my 760 Moras perfectly at about 3 for $10.

Can't comment on the 2000 and the Bushcraft series except that I suspect they are the old "new model, higher price" scam. In my eyes, the 700 series knives sre so good that they do not need improvement.

I love the Mora brand. I've got a carbon and a stainless clipper, as well as a KJ Eriksson 911 and 946. Also have a 765 and a 756 knife. I'd like something a little wider and a little thicker than the clippers and KJ's and the Mora 2000/2010/Force knives may be the ticket.
