Mora 2000 steel

Hey guys

Can somebody tell me what type of steel the Mora 2000 blade is made of.

I know it's stainless steel but anybody know what sort of stainless?

I am trying to decide between a few knives. I have heard nothing but praise for the Mora, but I would like to know the steel used to help me decide.

I've bought several Eriksson Mora knives from Ragweed Forge, but mine are carbon steel. I have nothing but praise for Scandinavian knives and Swedish Mora knives are just a small example of the great stuff produced there. You've got to sample the Norwegian knives by Helle or Brusletto as well as puukkos from Finland.
