Is the Force and the Survival basically the same knife? Is the thickness and the tang length the same?

I have read that the survival has a squared off back part of the blade to strike sparks better with the included firesteel is this the only real difference in the two?

What I am trying to do is make my mind up on which to buy, thanks for any info.

Not really. :o The Survival is not amongst those pictured--just the Force and the Triflex. :)

Rick if you want to try out a force, I can send you mine to play around with till you make up your mind, email me at bushbum75@yahoo.com if interested.

RescueRiley,

Thanks for that very kind offer, I will most likely get a Force because for the money I don't think I will go wrong. I will get a Survival later on at some point just to have it.

What are your thoughts on the Force?

The force is imho one of the most solid regular moras around. it has a thick 3.4 tang, that I can't imagine breaking utilizing normal tasks including, reasonal battoning of kindling sized woods. I love it, Though admittedly don;t give it the attention it deserves, I mostly use a carbon companion.. (I like a little bnit of a slenderer blade) but now after teling you about the force I might have to take her out for a spin... LOL.. anyway imho one of the top 5 production bushcraft survival knives out there for under 100 Bucks, get one you;ll like it.

I like the #333 myself. Very thin and you can chop with it. Batoned it plenty as well. :D

But it's a lot bigger than the Force or Survival. :p
