Mora. carbon or Stainless???

Depends on where you live. I took some carbon mora's to India (very humid)...they looked HORRIBLE after about 30 days in that humidity. I personally didn't like them very much. The edges seemed to roll pretty easy. Anyway..my two cents.

I've got both and prefer the stainless. I don't see much difference in sharpening or edge holding. If there is a small difference, it is less than the hassle of worrying about rust.

I've got both. The carbon seems to sharpen easier and take a better edge. Not much difference though.

they both cut fine and sharpen quick enough...i never cared for the dirty patina look so i always prefer SS.

I'm pretty sure people will be unable to tell the 2 apart, based on performance, if they could not look at the knife.
That being said, I do prefer the carbon because of the way it looks after use.

Matter of taste. There's a tradeoff between ease of care and edge retention. but it's slight. I suspect that few of us use our knives hard enough for edge retention to be an issue. I prefer the laminated blades for wood carving, but happily use stainless for general purpose knives. Where laminated is not available, the Triflex is very, very good.

Get the Lamitated mora, it will out perform both the stainless and regular carbon blades. The core is of a higher hardness and holds a edge much better while still being very tough. The triflex moras are also good.

They're so cheap, just get one of each. Thats what I'm going to do. Stainless one will be used mostly for food prep.

I have lots of Moras, some carbon, some stainless. I find that I use the stainless more often, as they are better suited to food prep.
I use the carbon models more for battoning small kindling for my Kelly Kettle.

Hi.
Can you tell me what model Mora is laminated please.

I prefer the carbon steel models, but the SS version is also excellent.
