Just curious if a few of you may be able to point me in the right direction. I am still using the same crappy plastic sheath that comes with the mora. Since its been such a great companion I would like to get a leather one made for it. Nothing fancy or special. No need for a fire steel holder or a button snap just a decent form fitting sheath for cheap. Looked online a few places and most of the ones I found are around 40 to 60 and being of limited funds at the moment thats a little steep for me. Thanks in advance guys, I figure one or two of you have to hate the plastic sheath too and any ideas would be appreciated.

If you can find some leather, it's pretty easy to make a simple pouch sheath that swallows enough of the handle to hold the knife. There are also sheath kits that might be adaptible. Might try anybody who sells knife blades.

I forgot who I gave my mora number to, but I took the stock plastic sheath, and used it for the base to build a leather sheath around it. I just cut off the belt loop, and ended up with a puuko style plastic lined sheath that fit like a glove, since it was the standard mora sheath inside. I used a brass D ring for mounting the belt loop, so it was a free hanging sheath.

Carl.
