Picked up an 840 and 860 from Ben's Backwoods to see what all the fuss was about.

All I've done with them is whittle some willow tent pegs (I've got a weeping willow out back) but I must say I'm impressed. The handles fit the hand well and they are wickedly sharp. I understand the carbon bladed one (840) will take and hold a better edge but I couldn't tell much difference in practical use. They both made a few tent pegs and still shaved hair off my arm.

I'll still trust my Fallkniven F1 more but I wouldn't feel underknifed with either of these Moras!

The carbon clipper was my go to for about a year...I now keep a stainless one in my edc bag and one in my woods bag as backups

I love my clipper, started a fire with one today. Very cheap, and they aren't made by an asian country. Easy to sharpen, it's as though they are sharp even when they are dull.

I love moras.
