Mora Companion advertised as a Clipper... Different knife, right?

I was interested in getting a Mora Clipper 840 (in black with green). An ebay search provided many nice examples of such knives, but all seem to actually be the "companion". The grip on the clipper (I thought) is supposed to have a "stippled" (?) grip, but the companion has a stylized grip, with flowing lines or grooves. (I'm not saying this is the defining characteristic that separates the two knives, just a quick way to tell (I thought).

Searching google for a "Mora Clipper 840" should turn up many results as to where to get one, but, it doesn't.

This ebay reviewer bought what he thought was the Clipper, but ended up receiving a Companion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fovB7HcoekQ

This website sells a knife they are calling the Clipper Companion (which looks like a Companion to me).

Please enlighten me. Thanks.

The Companion was introduced as an updated replacement for the outdated Clipper model. Some clippers were made for a while with the long-tanged Companion blades, but the rubber grip of the Companion is smoother and the sheath is an improved design.

I just got my clipper the other day. I got it from bladehq. It had black rubber and red plastic for the handle. It was $10.95 its very nice. If you want a clipper and dont care about the color there is your place.

This is what I recommend, buy from a store that specializes in the item you want.

I picked up a stainless orange mora companion for $18 (at a retail store) and it's definitely my favorite mora

Thanks, folks. I saw that red-trimmed Clipper somewhere in the last day or so. I actually thought the clipper had a more 'rubbery' grip, while the Companion's grip APPEARS to be more hard plastic (to my eyes).

However, I got to hold a Mora Companion the other day, and was glad to touch and feel the new grip. It was nice.

The Clipper had the same kind of rubber--just a different texturing.
