I just sharpened my Mora but can't seem to get rid of the burr no matter how much I strop, anyone got any suggestions as to how to actually get rid of the burr?

Assuming you've got good technique and you're actually detecting a burr, I think a "micro bevel" might help. Get out your fine stone and make a few passes at a slightly elevated angle.

i once sharpened a mora (10eur amzn) of a pal's son. it was a gift from the boy's friend. i totally ruined the finish with 204UF. after adding a microbevel the knife was sharp . but originally the mora comes without a microbevel iirc

Dry strop on leather. No polish, paste, or anything else.
Raise the angle of the blade to 30 degrees or so. A couple swipes on each side should remove the burr.

Suggestion: When sharpening, only push the edge; never pull it over the stone. That helps prevent gettng a burr in the first place.

Edge leading strokes will help. If you have a wire edge drawn out try drawing the blade through the end grain of a piece of scrap wood and go back to the hone to cut off any remnants and re-apex.
