Mora Design?

Hey John, hope all is well. I haven't ordered a knife in a while.

I still maintain that the Mora knives are some of the most comfortable I've used.
While they are excellent knives, they are not as strong as a full tang design, the handle materials leave a bit to be desired, and I prefer a full flat grind to scandi.

My question is, can you essentially copy a Mora knife if I send one in?

I'd like it in 5/32 1095 if you have it, with the grippiest handle material you have, to be as close to this design as possible. I could even send you a sample knife to copy.

The handles are very rounded, and they come up over the top of the blade a bit. Thoughts?

John and I touched on this subject over a year ago, it just never developed.

In that time, I have grown to love my Mora, it is my one and only kitchen knife.

But even after all the abuse I've seen them take online, I'm still reluctant to use one in the woods. I'm confident John can settle my nerves with a full tang version in 1095.

Hehehe, I sold all od mine. All but one. I like my customs waaaay better than any of the production knives I had.

I would love a JK Mora2k if this all ends up happening, And if the original handle dimensions could be kept the same so it would fit my Kiahs sheath that would be sweet.

Huh? My last email said I was going to round up some funds and mail you a Mora when I was ready. You said "Sounds good" and wished me a happy Thanksgiving. Where from that did you gather this wasn't happening?

I just checked my email and saw you sent another message asking me to hold a spot. I wasn't notified, Gmail has been weird lately. Still would have preferred an attempted contact off the board before assuming I'm not interested. I've been away hunting without reliable net access.

Either way, don't hold up anybody else for me, go ahead and fill Feb if you have something available and if we can work this out when you have some time available, cool.
