can you find the Mora in this pic of me...if you can ID it, extra points.
We all love to post pics of the times we head out into the wilderness with our tools, I carry them on my hips all day. In my line of work, survival is about not making any mistakes..just like in the wild..but a wise old timer once taught me that a good carpenter IS gonna mess up, but a great carpenter..gets himself outta trouble.
I live by this wisdom, while trying for perfection. Just a little fun, for the group.

It's stuck in the other side of that plank !:D

And it's the new Mora 3000 Survival.

Above the hammer you can see the handle & sheath.

You're not using it to baton through those LVL beams, are you. I would put that in the category of abuse.

Marcelo beat me to the punch.
You guys have room on your crew for one more? Lawdy, do I need to get back to hard work for an honest day's pay.

It's a HighQ Allround Carbon

We have a winner:thumbup:....Ol, Marvelo has eagle eyes:p:thumbup:

...yup, I have been packing it around for 4 months now..and it is a very tough knife...I dont know if I just got a good one, or what, but the edge seems tougher than many of my other moras. I have the new triflex, but its a tad large to carry. The High Q is nice and small...easy to carry.

You and me both. I haven't had steady work in a couple years now. Been getting enough side jobs here and there to stay afloat, but that's it.

You want some honest/hard work ? Move here to Ky or Wva. We need more CoalMiners ! You can't keep people working here, they either can't pass a Drug screen or are just flat out lazy ! The older generation (baby boomers) are all getting ready to retire & my generation is not into this type of work the younger generation isn't gonna do it unless it involves sitting in front of a PC or Video Game !
Good luck to the both of you & God Bless !

Oddly enough, mining has always appealed to me. Then again, so has working on an oil rig, commercial fishing boat, logging, etc. Heck, I got into welding because I wanted to work in a shipyard. To me, the harder the work, the more rewarding the R&R and time with the family is.

ohski i seen that hammer ,an i love my Stiletto hammer too :thumbup:

I was taught: "A good carpenter isn't one who doesn't make mistakes; there is no such thing. A good carpenter is one who knows how to fix the mistakes he has made."
