Hi

I got a mora blade design that i like and have taken pics of it.

I intend to get stainless as well as laminated versions of it. what is the style or design of the blade? ( like clipper craftsman or by numbers) This is an eriksson blade.

Would like to get the Frost stainless version and KJE version of laminated if there is. Would appreciate if any mora fan would be able to let me know the model that has a blade shape like my moras.

I hear that kJE tend to be thicker than frost and are a little harder, any truth in it?

have seen that site and infact probably going to order from it but i am unsure about the tip shape. I am trying to get a tip shape like the ones i have in stainless and laminated model and i cant really tell what shape it is. i think they have names craftsman clipper etc or model numbers. I do not want one with a too pointed a tip. thanks

Hi gustav:
The two companies, frosts and KJE have merged into Mora of Sweden; as described on this Ragnar's page: http://www.ragweedforge.com/SwedishKnifeCatalog.html
You can still buy NOS, though, if the name is listed in the description. Another good place to buy moras is Ben's backwoods: http://www.bensbackwoods.com/servlet/Categories?category=Knives:MORA+of+SWEDEN
This is where I bought mine. Prices are great, shipping fast, good customer service, and pics on ALL of the different knives, so you can make sure of your tip shape. I would suggest getting just KJE's, if you can. Frosts made many knives with a very short tang. Mora O.S's could be either, so you'll never know unless you break or replace the handle. Good luck...they are all scary sharp!
