I almost bought a Moran Featherweight at a gunshow recently, cool knife. Anyone have one, either pattern, with a VG-10 blade, and how did you like it? It sounds like it has alot of the same good attributes of the Fallkniven F1, any comparison? I know the F1 is thicker (also laminated blade) and can take more hard use. I liked the feel of the Spyderco knife in the hand and comes with a kydex sheath.

I have both, love both. The F1 is a stronger blade but the Moran (mine is the drop point) has a thinner edge and better geometry for slicing. I think the Morans ergonomics are far superior to the F1 but the durability of the F1 makes it more suitable as a bushcraft/survival knife. I think the Moran is very under rated.
